This tradition evolved into the sport of moving target archery in European folklore. In China, during the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, there was also a similar ‘Yishou’ archery sport, specialising in shooting flying birds. The idiom ‘One Arrow, Two Eagles’ describes this kind of archery skill.
